The outer protective coating of the skin-or stratum corneum- is a virtually impenetrable barrier which is designed to resist external influences. Topical products cannot penetrate this protective layer so by themselves these products have limited success in treating problem areas.

To achieve results, Dermal Aquaphoresis penetrates the skin with advanced electrical waveforms and a conductive gel containing ingredients that treat imperfections caused by the aging process. A combination of three waveforms 'push' the gel ingredients deep into the tissue allowing them to more effectively address skin repair.

How it works

Your skin has various entry points which allow substances to pass through: hair follicles, sweat and sebaceous glands. However, these 'openings' are not evenly distributed over the surface of the skin and are generally too small to allow absorption. However, the initial waveform used in Dermal Aquaphoresis dilates these tiny openings and allows the transfer of active ingredients down into the skin.

And that's just part of the story. A second electrical waveform targets muscle tone to increase skin firmness and to stimulate blood flow and microcirculation. This increased blood flow is critical for the production of collagen which maintains your skin's smooth texture and elasticity.

Finally, a third sequence of waveformes is used for lymphatic drainage of toxins and waste products that can compromise your skin's ability to repair efficiently.
